BETTER THAN THE DEVIL
Summer 2025
Orphaned at a young age when his wealthy parents died in a car accident on holiday in Seville, Tomás leads a charmed life - exotic travel, exhilarating hobbies, fine friends and deep pockets. That’s what he tells everyone anyone anyway. Tomas isn’t at all what he seems, and the people around him that enjoy the perks of his alluring personality and black credit card have a tendency to die in extravagant, though entirely explainable ways. The reason being, Tomas is masquerading as a human. Why? He wants to defy the stereotypes of he and his angelic kin. He believes the marketing on the whole heaven and hell thing, aka the Bible, is all wrong. He believes he can do it better, that he would be a better ruler of hell than the present devil and he’s going to prove it, one mortal at a time.

Lendra is destined to rule, but the funny thing is, if she ever sets foot in the capital city of her own kingdom, she’ll trigger the destruction of the realms. At least that’s what the gods have told her bloodline for the last two hundred years. When Lendra is kidnapped by the kingdom’s most reviled traitor, the Kin Slayer, and forced into the capital to become his spy, she expects the world to erupt in flames. But to Lendra’s surprise…nothing happens, except that everything she has ever believed about herself, her kingdom, her gods, is called into question. Now, to save her family from the sword of the Kin Slayer, she needs to find out the one thing they both want: the reason why the gods lied.

However, all is not as it seems and Richard’s past is not so black and white. Now he must choose: either abandon his home, identity and fiancé for a new life in Germany, or risk death to defy the German High Command and warn the very country that has put a price on his head, of a deadly secret attack on the Belgian Frontier.

After a night of drinking games on wrong, Beckett finds himself at the mercy of his housemates as they take him hostage for an unexpected road trip. The biggest, and most uncomfortable surprise, however, is the ex-girlfriend he’s not over in the seat next to him and the wandering eyes of his best friend Shawn in the front seat.
